Time to go ahead and spend the money for a Silex 2000WG vs stand-alone print servers that don't work with MFPs. The Silex works well w/ my Canon MP830. Prints, Scans, Faxes across wired/wireless networks. Bi-directional, so handles printer messages. Setup was pretty straight forward, though I'm technical. Fax didn't work until I had updated all Silex firmware/drivers. System uses a "utility" that you have to run to manage the connection to the printer, which shouldn't really be necessary. I haven't tested conflicts w/ others trying to use device, but Silex does warn about potential problems if more than 1 user actively connected at same time. Again, they could easily overcome this with more intelligent routing on the device. Perhaps in a future version? Meanwhile, works as advertised and is the best option out there.
