Product Overview

From the Publisher:
Criminals have always called the shots in Sin City, whether bootleggers, gamblers, or politicians. But ever since the first dame set up shop in Old Town, those side-streets have been run by the women who walk the night. It's been a delicate truce, but now there's a messy body and the mob's looking to reclaim those licentious streets. They're going to have to put down a tight band of dangerous women and a guy named Dwight to do it. Now Dwight, he knows something that the mob's gotta learn the hard way: sometimes standing up for your friends means killing a whole lot of people...

Sin City is now a major motion picture directed by Miller and Robert Rodriguez (Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, SpyKids) and features a cast of Hollywood all-stars.

All of the second edition Sin City titles are redesigned by award-winning book designer, Chip Kidd!

From the Publisher
Annotation The pistol-packing prostitutes of Sin City's Old Town are free agents, owing nothing either to pimps or to the mob, and they're prepared to fight to keep it that way. But their fragile truce with the police threatens to shatter when a particularly thuggish cop named Jackie-Boy gets killed on their turf. War is about to erupt on the streets, unless the ladies' leader, Gail; their crack assassin, Miho; and a not-so-white-knight, ex-con Dwight, can prevent the police from getting their hands on the evidence (i.e., Jackie-Boy's corpse). Perfectly complementing the brutally satisfying text, the stylized black-and-white art--a study in sharp contrasts reminiscent of woodcuts--pulls no punches. This noir graphic novel is the third story arc in the Sin City series, and its plot serves as one of the three storylines used in the 2005 SIN CITY film, starring Rosario Dawson as Gail, Clive Owen as Dwight, and Benicio del Toro as Jackie-Boy.
