|Product DetailsSnore anti snoring mouthpiece is an oral appliance also referred to as a Mandibular Advancement Device. The simple custom-fit mouthpiece positions and holds the jaw, opening airways for maximum airflow, thus reducing or eliminating snoring vibrations. More specifically, it provides a forward-positioning for the tongue, which is connected to the lower jaw. This increases airflow and minimizes the most common snoring cause - soft palette vibrations in the rear of the mouth. Inexpensive snore aid7/31/2013
I bought this to help eliminate snoring. Having a little trouble getting used to sleeping with it, but I think it will help in the end.
SnoreDoc has been helping me get a better night's rest. It actually works to advance the lower jaw and prevent collapse of the airway.
Temporary alternative to CPAP machine.4/4/2013
I am a CPAP user who prefers not to take my machine for short trips. After following the instructions for fitting, I found the SnoreDoc did help with my sleep. Still, even though I did repeat the fitting procedure a couple of times, I feel that I slightly better fit would make this product even more useful.
Be prepared to wake up2/19/2013
This thing MIGHT be functional if it could be professionally molded but the hot water molding is similar to what I had to do with my football helmet mouth piece in High School. Sleeping with this thing is roughly the same too.
After following the instructions to the letter, I found the item to be completely worthless. I would always wake up and find the device had fallen out of my mouth during the middle of the night.
I did not expect comfort, but I never dreamed it would be this bad. I fitted it via directions as best possible. It constantly fills with saliva keeping you awake. When I finally had enough sleeplessness (perhaps that is the object, if you don't fall asleep, you cannot snore!), I removed it to realize the unatural position had caused my jaw to cramp up. I could not close my mouth for several hours. Had I slept with it in all night, I would have not been able to eat breakfast.
Not sure yet.8/10/2012
Product came as expected. Service was excellent. Not sure if it works or not. It is taking me time to get used to it. Not initially comfortable.
This snore guard is a plastic mouthpiece that you mold to fit your teeth. It's like the mouthguards worn for sports except that it covers both upper and lower teeth. It's terribly uncomfortable to wear to the point that I haven't been able to sleep with it on to know if it works. I will try again, but it is very bulky and somewhat painful at least at first.
This product really does help snoring. You just need to follow the molding instructions right. My wife is happy now ;)
This is one of the only products that really helps snoring. Dentists charge around $600 for the same thing. I will be buying more. Thanks.
