I had not been able to get my installed Airport Card to work with my Linksys wireless router (802.11b), and since it had worked in the past, and because an HP wireless printer was connecting OK, I assumed that somehow, there was an incompatibility problem with an updated version of the Mac drivers for the Airport Card. So, I bought a new Linksys Wireless G router--and it STILL DID NOT WORK WITH THE MAC (15" Titanium Powerbook G4). So, I found this card with a Google search, and then found that the best price was at Buy.com, and it just arrived. I inserted it into the PC card slot (no need to remove the installed Airport Card), booted up the Powerbook (the 15" Titanium G4 is the only model that the card is supposed to support), and INSTANTLY I was connected to my home network. I am composing this review now on the Powerbook, connected via the Sonnet Aria Extreme card to my home network. Fantastic!

The Sonnet Network Aria Extreme Airport Adapter was half the price of the 802-11B Apple Airport Card and integrated seamlessly into my wife's Macintosh 15" Laptop G4. Also it is 802-11G, a later generation over the Apple Airport Card. The Apple software interpreted the card as an Apple system and networked with my Tower Macintosh with a Belken router, about 1/4 the price of an Apple Airport Extreme wireless station. My wife is surfing the net over our Cox Cable wide-band network as if the Notebook was connected directly to the Cable Modem.
