||As of late, much of my time has been devoted to NIS America's latest title Soul Nomad & the World Eaters ("SN" for short). Those familiar with NIS will undoubtedly believe this to be just another SRPG, another typical jaunt through a world in which grid-based movement is king and creating parties is the recipe for success. However, you'd be wrong on more levels than I can name and miss out on one of this years more intriguing titles. Granted, this is an SRPG (strategy role-playing game for those who aren't in the know), but there are some many incredible qualities to it, so many unique facets, that just passing on it because you've "been there, done that" would be a total shame...Soul Nomad isn't necessarily going to blow your mind, but if you want a change of pace in terms of SRPGS, well, this is easily the game to pick up at your local retailer. It might take a little time for you to truly dig into, but the storyline and characters will honestly pique your interest and keep you in the game, even if you're struggling a bit. If they did a sequel to this, I'd only ask for a better tutorial... other than that, it's a pretty solid game and a very enjoyable experience for all.
