Author Bio
Syd Hoff
Syd Hoff attended the National Academy of Design in New York City as a fine arts student, but was not encouraged by his instructors due to the humorous quality of his work. Later, as a cartoonist, he was a regular contributor to "The New Yorker" and other magazines. As an author, Hoff is known for his books for beginning readers. His first work, DANNY AND THE DINOSAUR, evolved from a series of drawings he created for his daughter when she was ill.
