It works just as expected. I am connecting via USB vs eSATA since I don't have an eSATA bay. I use it for WHSv1 and it picked up the 4x2TB drives without any issues. WHS and (and w2k3) server both identified the disks correctly and I was able to quickly add it to the storage pool. I even did a hot remove and it worked just as advertised. The Bright Blue LED will annoy you. The only major ding to this is the front door. It's really, I mean, really cheap. The clip is made out of cheap plastic. I have my first one RMA'd since it arrived defective. If you don't care about the door latch, it's a good deal.
