Good Starter Set12/31/2007
This boxset represents a good starter set for understanding the charisma of Steve McQueen, one of the biggest movies stars of the 1960s and early 1970s. Movies such as THE CINCINNATI KID and BULLITT show him at his peak: tense and edgy and slightly cynical, with a terse responsiveness to everything around him. These films are all good examples of Hollywood filmmaking, and show McQueen at every stage in his career, from the beginning (NEVER SO FEW) to the end (TOM HORN).
