Strawberry Shortcake: Dress Up Days consists of two new exciting episodes -

The Play's The Thing
Strawberry is made to feel self-conscious about an old, patched-together raincoat that she has. When the kids put on a play version of Cinderella, Strawberry and the others are able to see that it's not what you wear that counts, but who you are.

The Costume Party
Peppermint Fizz wants to exclude a new girl, Rainbow Sherbert, because she's "different" - in the way she looks, talks, etc. When a dress up party is set up, Strawberry gets the other kids to play a prank on Peppermint that makes her see the value in being different.

Editor's Note

In these two charming episodes, Strawberry and her friends show what fun it is to dress up. First, the gang is disappointed when their garden party is rained out in "The Play's the Thing." But when Blueberry Muffin suggests they all don costumes and act out a play, called Strawberryella, the day is more than salvaged! Then, in "The Costume Party," Peppermint Fizz doesn't take well to the new girl, Rainbow Sherbet, because she lives on a boat and dresses strangely. In short, she's different from Peppermint! Strawberry and her friends show Peppermint the error of her ways at a costume party, demonstrating what a good thing it is that everyone is unique.
