The Little Family Just Got Bigger.
Join the fun when the Little family adopts an adorably spunky boy named Stuart (Michael J. Fox), who looks a lot like a mouse. Mr. and Mrs. Little (Hugh Laurie and Geena Davis) fall in love with Stuart right away, but their older son, George (Jonathan Lipnicki), isn't so sure. As Stuart tries to win over his new brother with hilarious feats of courage and daring, the family's cat, Snowball (Nathan Lane), gets involved with a gang of shady felines who devise a dastardly plan to get Stuart out ofthe house...permanently! State-of-the-art special effects, laugh-out-loud comedy and rip-roaring hijinks make this the biggest adventure a Little can have!

"Sure to delight and uplift the entire family.  David Sheehan, CBS-TV
"[The film] isn't just great fun. It's an uproariously good time.  Desson Howe, Washington Post
"A family adventure filled with excitement, fun and one absolutely adorable mouse!  George Pennacchio, KABC-TV

Editor's Note
Based on the novel by E.B. White, this is the heartwarming story of Stuart Little, a charming mouse who is adopted by a human family, to the disgust of the housecat and his new brother George. The tale unfolds as Stuart grows accustomed to his new role, eventually winning over everyone he meets. Seamless technical effects make this a work of entertainment that even the most jaded of filmgoers will fall for.

ReelViews 7 of 10
...a lighthearted adventure with a heartfelt message about the meaning of family. And, while the film is primarily aimed at the under-10 crowd, filmmaker Rob Minkoff (co-director of The Lion King) establishes a tone that adults will appreciate. Everyone in this movie takes everything with such a sense of deadpan seriousness that it's actually amusing. I kept wondering how some of the actors could deliver their lines with straight faces. - James Berardinelli
