| The film tells the story of a young boy and his older brother, who, having recently lost their father, spend a summer in their family's lakeside home with their mother. However, when a retired black doctor returns to the lakeside community of his boyhood and befriends the younger boy, the two brothers suddenly find themselves set against one another as the town's racist past flares up once again. |

Editor's Note
Actress Shaver directs this tale of a small Southern all-white lakeside community which is upset when the first black landowner moves into town. Jones delivers a strong performance as usual.
