Great idea for a really big man!7/29/2011
the product would ultimately work just fine if i had really big arms. Its just SO big it slides right off of my arm. I end up holding it in my hand. Maybe it should come in S,M,L. Would not buy again.
Satisfying Sport Band12/11/2010
I got this as a gift for my husband this Christmas, but was dissapointed by the quality of sportbands at stores like Walmart and Target. Also, it was only $1.00 compared to $25.00! This product contains long-lasting quality!
I use it10/10/2010
I ordered this because the last El Cheapo armband ripped after about 4 days of use. So far, this one has been used about 2 weeks. That said, here are my findings. I'm not sure why people complain about an adjustable arm band being too large. Adjust it and make it smaller. Sure, you'll have some extra, but it's not that big a deal. Or maybe I'm a gorilla. I thought I'd like the fact that the actual pocket you slide your phone in to was on top of the arm band. My last one was inside it and hard to load and unload. This one is easier to load and unload, but it's also just cheap plastic and has already ripped. My biggest complaint is the comfort. For whatever reason, the mesh is just not very comfortable around my arm. I have to wear long sleeves or pull a short sleeve down low to keep the mesh from irritating my arm.
Made for larger arms9/22/2010
I bought this armband for my wife to use when working out. Seems to work ok but she did have two complaints. One, she had to remove the back cover of her iTouch in order to make it fit. Two, the strap is so big that it doesn't fit her arm well and slides a bit. The strap is even too big for me and would probably fit around my leg. Not bad for the price paid though.
It was inexpensive but the insert for the iPhone/Pod ripped the second time I used it. Looking at the stitching, it is horribly cheap and appears as if a blind person did it. No disrespect to the visually challenged reading this review, the stitching just totally misses its mark and a couple more uses and the thing will fall apart.
What was I expecting for $0.77?9/13/2010
I guess I should have known better ordering a product that costs only 77 cents. The quality of the materials seems OK but it was sized to fit the arm of a gorilla, not a human. There is no possible way this could fit on a normal person's arm, it is simply way too large. I could send it back but the economics of sending back an item that cost less than a buck don't even make it worth returning. My guess is that these are some sort of manufacturing mistake that are being dumped at a low price.
