Unsolveable AGP Issues
This motherboard has issues with newer AGP video cards that Supermicro is not willing to adress through tech support due to the age of the product. It is a known issue (from their FAQ) that some AGP video cards do not operate. I used a GeForce 6800GS from BFG and recieved VGA Error beep codes as boot time and no video. I then used a known good GeForce MX from a Dell PC and no beep codes but also no video output. After all this 14 days were up and I was stuck with a board with only on-board video capability. If you are not using AGP video it is a decent board. Remember, no on-board audio though. The 6-SATA drive capability was amazingly easy to set up following the manual and SATA RAID utility. The RAID may attribute to the non-operational AGP due to extended BIOS size limitations (again, from Supermicro FAQ).
