PS-4400 Handheld Scanner is a innovative standalone film scanner that instantly preserves important documents, letters, or recipes, recording its contents onto a memory card for later retrieval on your computer. As you move the scanner over an area as large as 8 1/2" H x 50" L, its sensitive color image sensor scans at fine (900 dpi), high (600 dpi) or standard (300 dpi) resolution, saving images as JPG or PDF files stored on an inserted microSD card (memory card sold separately). An upgraded model of PS-4100, SVP PS-4400 has a built-in Preview color LCD display, scan up to 900 dpi, and JPG / PDF file format selection. This handheld scanner is good for scanning documents, books & pictures up to A4 size. It is easy to use with the built-in realtime Scanning Detector to avoid distortion, and over-speed alert to control scanning speed. 900 dpi, 600 dpi or 300 dpi, color or monochrome scanning option is provided. JPEG or PDF files can be saved directly to your micro SD or to your computer via USB port. It supports Windows 7 / Vista / XP and Mac OS10.4 or above without the need to install a driver. Built-in color display can preview the document you scanned, shows the selected resolution, remaining battery life, and memory status. Bonus optical character recognition software included! Powered by 2 x AA batteries, that can approximately scan 200 pages.
