Fantastic for price3/31/2012
A very inexpensive way to take beach pictures and not worry about getting sand in your camera!!!! Not like a Canon 7d but then the price isn't either!
Forget the underwater photos2/2/2012
We took the camera to Roatan, Honduras for some underwater photography. What a joke. You couldn't see anything on the camera window and the camera kept shutting itself off every 45 seconds or so. Waste of money; get yourself a disposable film camera and save yourself money.
You'll get what you pay for.12/15/2011
In the beginning I thought this was a very good deal especially for waterproof camera. It uses up the batteries really quickly so I invested in rechargeables. After 2 months of limited use it stopped working. The screen started flickering on and off. I thought the batteries were dying but I got the same effect with the new ones. I emailed the company this morning and am waiting for their response so I will be updating this review soon.
If you buy this, invest in a battery company10/27/2011
I bought this camera primarily for use on a cruise for underwater pictures. Thought I could use it for above ground pics also as I didn't want to carry 2 cameras. Every 5 uses of the flash, you will need new batteries. Even not using hte flash, batteries need to be replaced more than once a day. Didn't take it out of the box until after the 45 day return period had elapsed. Like throwing $50 out the window. Didn't even get to try it underwater. Got home from the cruise today and have only a handful of pictures to show for the best cruise ever!
