Swan Series (2006)

Editor's Note The reality-TV boom of the early 21st century gathered pace when THE SWAN first aired in April 2004. The show takes members of the public who are unhappy with every aspect of their lives and attempts to completely transform them. This involves working out, undergoing sessions with a therapist, meeting with a stylist, and having extensive plastic surgery. The twist in the tale is that contestants are not allowed to see themselves as their various character flaws are carefully ironed out, with all access to mirrors or any other reflective devices completely banned. This release includes the entire first season of the show, with each candidate hoping host Amanda Byram will declare them "The Ultimate Swan."
