One Cop Challenges a Deadly Legend.
One man becomes a deadly strike force in this dramatic action-thriller starring martial arts sensation Steven Vincent Leigh as the rugged, furious-fisted undercover cop, Johnny Lee. Against a backdrop of police corruption in a lurid Las Vegas underworld, Officer Lee sets out to avenge the untimely death of his partner Alan (Jeff Pruitt), who was brutally murdered during an art gallery heist on the eve of his retirement. With Alan's tough-willed sister Vicky (European kickboxing legend Sophia Crawford) as his only help, and an ancient sword as his only link to the savage killer, Johnny is forced to unleash the one weapon that can't be defeated...himself.
Editor's Note
A martial-arts expert Las Vegas cop infiltrates the seedy Vegas underworld to avenge the death of his partner. Using an ancient sword as his introduction into the killer's lair, he uses his considerable powers to survive and gain his revenge.

Plot Summary
After his partner is murdered, a cop goes undercover in Las Vegas to figure out who's responsible and get revenge. There, he winds up encountering vicious gangsters and uncovering police corruption. Although he's clearly outnumbered, the officer's enemies aren't counting on his martial arts skills. Also coming in handy is an ancient sword that links the policeman to his partner's slayer. Will this one-man-army be able to defeat the villains and nab the killer?

The Unknown Movies 7 of 10
If Sword Of Honor had been faster paced and more energetic, it probably would have been a must see movie. As it is right now, it's a bit too slow and meandering to actually pay money to see despite its notable qualities. That's why it's probably best to wait until it comes on cable or free TV, then tape it. With your remote control in your hand and your finger near the fast-forward button, you'll probably be entertained. 8 of 10
A cop with martial arts skills investigates the murder of his partner in Sword of Honor, a PM Entertainment Group, Inc. Image Entertainment release. Steven Vincent Leigh stars in the exercise, which has enough fight sequences to keep fans interested and enough plot to validate the action. The film also makes effective use of its Las Vegas locations. The picture is reasonably sharp. The color transfer is fine, though fleshtones are occasionally dull. The stereo surround sound is adequate and the 95 minute program is closed captioned with insignificant paraphrasing. - Doug Pratt
