From the Publisher:
Energetic text and colorful pictures combine to introduce little ones to counting as Ten Little Fish explore their vibrant underwater realm filled with exciting surprises! The bestselling author and her son, digital artist Bruce Wood, present a read-aloud counting book overflowing with vibrant underwater illustrations. Full color.
Annotation:
An old-fashioned counting game is presented in a visually brilliant way with a school of 10 digitally generated tropical fish that are gradually winnowed down to one. The one fish then meets a significant other and they build back up to a family of 10. The numbers are recited in the context of bouncily rhythmic rhymes, and the coral reef in the background will remind children of the film FINDING NEMO. Author Audrey Wood's son, Bruce Wood, created the bright digital illustrations.

Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books
"The rhyme is thoroughly predictable, in the best sense, and the countdown mnemonic works as well as ever...A rainbow spectrum of dayglo fish dart...in a sea of saturated color." 01/01/2005
