Texas Rangers (1995)

Editor's Note As a group formed in mid-19th century Texas, the Texas Rangers wielded law and established order in the legendary Wild West. Their motto involved shooting first and asking questions later, but the approach was scarcely controversial; in fact, it helped protect the Lone Star State and the lives of innumerable citizens. As originally aired on public television, this historical documentary profiles many of the rangers, including Leander McNally, Jack Hays, and the courageous ranger responsible for ending the crime spree of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.
