As San Francisco''s most glamorous millionaires mingle at the party of the year, someone is watching--waiting for a chance to take vengeance. The exhilarating new chapter in the Women''s Murder Club series serves up a double dose of shocking twists and scandalous revelations.
From the Publisher:
Cowritten by America's #1 best-selling author, the latest entry into the popular mystery series begins with the murder of the perfect couple, and no sooner is detective Lindsay Boxer on the case than the body of a preacher is found, testing the limits of the Women's Murder Club as sparks fly between Cindy and her partner, detective Rich Conklin. Reprint.
Annotation:
Detective Lindsay Boxer and the members of the Women's Murder Club have their hands full investigating the murder of a much-admired local couple, while Cindy Thomas is looking into the circumstance surrounding a homeless ministries preacher. James Patterson keeps his series strong with this eighth entry.
Author Bio
James Patterson
James Patterson grew up in Newburgh, New York, 50 miles north of New York City. Valedictorian of his class at the Christian Brothers school, St. Patrick's, in 1965, Patterson graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in English. He first entertained the idea of becoming a writer in 1971 when he worked as a college student in a mental institution, a job that afforded him abundant time to read. He came up with the idea for his first novel during that time, and five years later, after 26 rejection slips, his first effort, "The Thomas Berryman Number", appeared in bookstores. Since that time, Patterson has written numerous best-selling thrillers featuring the sensitive, modern-day hero Alex Cross, including "Kiss the Girls", which was made into a major motion picture starring Morgan Freeman.
