Jan Berenstain
Jan Berenstain is best known for her books featuring the Berenstain Bears, a family of humorous bears that she created in collaboration with her husband, Stan. The couple met as students at the Philadelphia College of Art and began writing children's books when they were unable to find enough funny books to satisfy their son.
