After her father's tragic accident, Leona's faith wavers. When outlander Jimmy Scott is hired to paint an Amish schoolhouse, Jimmy and Leona find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other. Can anything good come from the love between an Amish woman and an English man? What secrets will be revealed and what miracles await God's people in Lancaster County?

From the Publisher:
Leona is Bishop Jacob Weaver's daughter and a dedicated teacher in a one-room Amish schoolhouse. After her father's tragic accident, Leona's faith wavers. How could God allow something like this to happen to one of His servants? Outlander Jimmy Scott comes to Pennsylvania in search of his real family. When he is hired to paint an Amish schoolhouse, Jimmy and Leona find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other. Can anything good come from the love between an Amish woman and an English man? What secrets will be revealed and what miracles await God's people in Lancaster County?

About the Author:
Fascinated by the Amish people during the years of visiting her husband's family in Pennsylvania, Wanda E. Brunstetter combined her interest with her writing and now has eleven novels about the Amish in print, along with numerous other stories and ministry booklets. She lives in Washington State, where her husband is a pastor, but takes every opportunity to visit Amish settlements throughout the states.

Annotation:
Leona is an Amish schoolteacher and the daughter of a Bishop, but her faith in God wavers after her father suffers a terrible accident. Meanwhile an Englishman named Jimmy Scott comes to Pennsylvania searching for his biological family, and Leona and Jimmy find themselves powerfully drawn towards each other. Wanda E. Brunstetter's Christian novels about the Amish people have found a legion of fans and this heartwarming and faith-affirming addition will surely do the same.
