|Two "New York Times"-bestselling authorsNand two of the hottest names in paranormal romanceNteam up for the first time to bring lucky readers a holiday anthology . . . with teeth! Here are delightful brand-new stories featuring familiar faces from their enormously popular Argeneau family and Night Huntress series.|
From the Publisher:
In Lynsay Sands' ?The Gift?, Katricia Argeneau must convince cop Teddy Brunswick that he is her life mate and make this a Christmas neither of them will forget, and in Jeaniene Frost's ?Home for the Holidays?, Cat and Bones must take down an evil vampire who is determined to kill their holiday cheer. 100,000 first printing.
Since publishing her first romance, THE DEED, in 1997, Lynsay Sands has written dozens of novels; all of them--no matter what the subgenre--showcase her snappy wit and good-natured humor. She has penned both contemporary and historical works, and among her most popular volumes are those in the Argeneau vampire series. "The idea [for the vampire novels] came while [chatting] with some writer friends," she has explained. "One of them suggested doing a vampire anthology, with each of us doing our own take. With my track record in romantic comedy, I said if we did that, my character would probably faint at the sight of blood or something. . . . The anthology never came to pass, but the ideas lingered in my mind." Sands was born in Ontario, Canada, and graduated from the University of Windsor. While still a student, she began submitting manuscripts to publishing houses but met with rejection until finally selling THE DEED. The first book in the Argeneau series, SINGLE WHITE VAMPIRE (2003), earned Sands a larger, more diverse audience. Fans of fantasy, horror and science fiction are drawn to her work, and men make up a significant portion of her readership. Her books now appear regularly on bestseller lists, and Sands has been the recipient of the Paranormal Excellence Award for Romantic Literature, better known by the acronym P.E.A.R.L., multiple times.
