|Need to lose weight? Have diabetes and need to track carb intake? Want to make healthier-more informed eating choices? Or just want to know what''s in that Big Mac or your favorite Starbucks drink? If any of this sounds like you, this book is a must-have!|
Prepared by dietitian Allan Borushek, this bestselling food content guide provides information on the number of calories, as well as the amount of fats and carbohydrates, for thousands of items commonly sold in supermarkets. The handy, color-coded reference also provides data on over 200 fast food restaurant chains, an education in itself! This jam-packed resource can help you plan ahead, whether you have special dietary needs or just want to make good choices.
This book is a very good source of food fat & carbohydrate information. However, where it has no information on one major restaurant chain that we frequent (Cracker Barrel), it does have info on tons of places that we've never even heard of (White Castle, Wawa, Zaxby's & many others). The book is of a handy size, and the info contained therein is very useful.
