Fun learning tool12/5/2008
I bought this for my two year old granddaughter. She is a little young to grasp the concept of what the rules of the game are but fully understands what matches and what doesn't. It's the beginning of learning to play a game that she will grow into. We are a game playing family and we have always begun with this one with our children and grandchilden. They love it.
My 2 1/2 year old loves it!12/5/2008
this game is a great way to teach your little ones about things that match. my daughter and i play this game daily. we started out with 3 pairs and have worked up to 8. it's so much fun to see her be so proud of herself when she makes a match. a great classic game.
Three year old grandson loves it12/5/2008
Can also be played at a simpler level with fewer cards.
We first purchased this game for our daughter about twenty five years ago. She enjoyed the game so very much and played with it for many years. Remembering her fun, she has ask that we buy the game for her daughter.
Ever since I was a child, I can remember the Perfection commercial, "push the plunger down, set the timer, put the pieces in place, don't be long...". I always wanted the game, but never got it as a child. Now, as an adult, I purchased it for my sons (knowing I wanted to try it), and we are all enjoying it! My 7 year old considers it a challenge, and my 5 year old "helps" me put all the pieces in place. He recently remarked how good he thought I was. (I guess I should let him have his own turn, but it's just so much fun!). Even my 2 year old daughter helps return the pieces to their slots when they all pop out. In addition to this being great for enhancing my childrens' motor skills, I am happy to have one more nonelectronic toy! How nice it is to have a game that doesn't require batteries! Sometimes the games without all the bells and whistles are the ones that last the longest. With all the birthday parties that my kids are invited to, when this went on sale a while back, I bought 4 of them --just to have, because I know since I love it others will too.

I think the pieces were larger when I was a child but not sure. A little hard for adults to handle. My 6-year old on the other hand loves it and gets a real good laugh when it pops up! Great game for concentration and learning fast thinking. I loved it as a child and am glad he is also!
My niece loves it!12/5/2008

I bought this game for my 8-year-old daughter and she loves it! It's as much fun as the original I owned back when I was a child. It's sturdy, needs no batteries and even her 14-year-old sister can't help but join in on the fun! This is a great game for both boys and girls, even Moms and Dads!
