Author Bio
W. E. B. Griffin
W. E. B. Griffin's first assignment in the U.S. Army brought him to Germany as a part of the army of occupation. Having first joined in 1946, Griffin interrupted his studies at Philips University in Germany to serve again in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953, seeing active duty as a combat information officer. He continued to work with the Army after the war as chief of the publications division in Alabama, but left this post after publishing three novels and realizing he could now make a living writing military thrillers. Also the author of a series of police procedurals, Griffin is best known for the thrillers he set during both the Vietnam and Korean wars. Having had direct experience with his subject, Griffin injects all his work with a degree of detail and authenticity his readers have come to expect.
