Author Bio
Dave Pelzer
As his autobiographical trilogy attests, Dave Pelzer was brutally abused by an emotionally unstable and alcoholic mother until the state of California intervened. He then spent six years in foster care, after which he entered the Air Force. Pelzer has earned numerous awards for his volunteer and military service, among them the 1993 Ten Outstanding Americans Award. He now lectures on the personal growth circuit.
