Timely information for trauma healing perscpective
This book covers a variety of backgrounds related to different traumas. The best part are the exercises in the back. From someone who also got the book, "I've never felt as grounded and released after doing the exercises." The work is very subtle, though you will notice some muscle pulses or spasms through a release of trapped up energy and physically-seated emotions. Very restorative and a very gentle approach, but resoundingly more centered. I've heard several vets coming back to Iraq are finding this book and related video material very applicable, because it is "doing" rather than "expressing", directly effective, basically trauma-treatment-like yoga for the very tight and any repetitive stress occurrence.
