just very very nice

by Jonny Dieb on 8/1/2002

This is one of my favorite children's books of all times. Not only the illustrations are incredibly fascinating, the text is written with an easy-feeling flow that makes any soul content. Perfect gift for anybody, any age, but specially the youngens. Read More

Author Info
Margaret Wise Brown
Margaret Wise Brown, best known for GOODNIGHT MOON, the enduring classic given to every new parent, wrote over 100 books for children and was a pioneer in the areas of children's literature and education. Though many of her books featured bunnies and other fluffy creatures, she belonged to the Buckram Beagles, a Long Island hunting club. Brown won the Caldecott Medal in 1947 for THE LITTLE ISLAND. She died tragically young, at the age of 42 of an embolism following a routine operation.
From the Publisher
Editors Note A little rabbit who wants to run away tells his mother how he will escape, but she is always right behind him
Annotation Along with GOODNIGHT MOON, this story is one of America's classic bedtime tales. A little white bunny tells his mother of the many creative ways he plans to run away from home, and his mother responds by saying him that she will always be able to find him. No matter where he hides, because she loves him, she'll always know just where he is. B&W drawings show the imaginary adventures of the little bunny, while his mother's replies are depicted in color.
