There was a boy called Eustace Clarence Scrubb and he almost deserved it. (from the first line)
In the never-ending war between good and evil, The Chronicles of Narnia set the stage for battles of epic proportions. Some take place in vast fields, where the forces of light and darkness clash. But other battles occur within the small chambers of the heart and are equally decisive.

Journeys to the ends of the world, fantastic creatures, betrayals, heroic deeds, and friendships won and lost -- all come together in an unforgettable world of magic. So take a voyage into the unknown.

Performed by Derek Jacobi

Annotation:
This children's fantasy, part of the classic Chronicles of Narnia, takes place not long after the previous installment in the series, PRINCE CASPIAN. The two younger Pevensie siblings, Edmund and Lucy, return to Narnia (or rather, to a ship a few days' journey from Narnia), accompanied this time by their extremely unpleasant cousin, Eustace Scrubb. There, they join their friend, King Caspian, on a sea-voyaging quest to discover the whereabouts of seven lords loyal to Caspian's late father, all of whom disappeared on an expedition many years ago. En route, they have several adventures with slave traders, greedy dragons, magical springs, and mysterious sorcerers. The BBC adapted this book for television in 1989.
Author Bio
C. S. Lewis
Clive Staples Lewis was educated in England, attending Oxford in 1917. World War I interrupted his studies and Lewis served in the trenches for two years. In 1919 he returned to Oxford, where he remained until 1954. An atheist, Lewis converted to Christianity in 1929, and spent his life pursuing many interests: his acclaimed Narnia books and a trilogy of space travel novels; books concerning religion; and an academic career in medieval and renaissance literature. In 1955, Lewis moved on to Magdalen College, Cambridge University; in 1956 he married Joy Davidman Gresham, who died in 1960. Lewis survived her by three years.
