|A Better Way To Cool Your Laptop:|
ThermaPAK’s Patented HeatShift Laptop Cooler is the most effective solution against laptop heat. In a recent CNET study the HeatShift Laptop Cooler was proven to lower laptop temperature by more than 10 degrees Fahrenheit and significantly outperformed USB cooling fans. Unlike the fan products that blow dirt and dust at your laptop the grooved channels on the HeatShift laptop cooler enhances airflow.
Not only does the self cooling HeatShift dissipate heat faster and more effectively than alternative products, it uses no power (extends battery life), wires, or refrigeration- making it the most advanced, and eco-friendly laptop cooler you can buy. The HeatShift cools uniformly by using organic cooling crystals that dissipate heat away from your laptop allowing it to perform at its best while keeping your laptop at a safe temperature. The superior design and performance of the HeatShift Laptop Cooler has received numerous industry awards such as the CES Innovations Design & Engineering Award and the iF Design Award.
How does the HeatShift Laptop Cooler work?
The HeatShift Laptop Cooler uses organic cooling crystals that change from a solid to a liquid to help dissipate heat. When placed under a laptop computer, the organic crystals immediately begin to dissipate heat. The grooved channels in the HeatShift Laptop Cooler enhance airflow to assist in dissipating the heat. After hours of continual use the solid cooling crystals will gradually turn into a gel-like state, continuing to draw heat away from the computer. When the computer is not being used, the HeatShift Laptop Cooler will automatically change back into a solid state and is ready for its next use.

This thermal pad did not work effectively for me. It wicked the heat away for awhile but then after an hour reached equilibrium and heat dissipation was inadequate under heavy loads. May be OK for web browsing or business use. I prefer a fan base cooling for game play or heavy graphic use. I know of something that would be very adequate but manufacturing costs would make it prohibitive. But the youth seemed trended to the Webphone or iPad these days. I would have trouble focusing on such small screens. I like a lot of real estate to look at, like 20" at least.
Works fine but not good if your laptop heats too much.
