Editor's Note
There was a time before rock & roll encroached on the public consciousness and blew many other musical forms away to the sidelines. That time saw sheet music ruling the roost, with many youngsters clamoring to get their hands on the latest batch of sheet music--a behavior that was mirrored in subsequent years as the seven inch single became the object du jour for America's youth. This film from Ken Butler received several Obie Awards, and takes viewers on a nostalgic trip back to the early days of the 20th century.
