| Founded in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has established itself as one of the most prestigious annual music events in the world. The extraordinary list of artists who have played there is drawn from across the musical spectrum and from around the world. Now, with the consent of the festival and the artists, Eagle Eye Media is making these concerts available on DVD for the first time. These two complete concerts from Montreux in 1991 and 1992 catch Tori Amos right at the start of her solo career, one shortly before the release of her Little Earthquakes album and the second a few months after. There is a clear progression from one year to the next as Tori grows in confidence and skill as a live performer, buoyed by the critical and commercial success of the album. The tracklisting focuses on Little Earthquakes and features all the hits from it but there are also rare songs from her early EPs including her distinctive takes on Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" and "Thank You" and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit." This DVD brilliantly captures the vibrancy of Tori Amos' early live performances. 1991 Set List 1992 Set List |

Editor's Note
Tori Amos turned alt-rock inward with her intense and personal piano ballads, and helped usher in a striking new era of work by female singer-songwriters in the 1990s.This two-concert collection offers a fascinating glimpse of Amos's growth as an artist in the months straddling her revered 1992 solo debut, LITTLE EARTHQUAKES. Each filmed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, the 1991 show features an introspective performance by a woman on the brink of success, while in the 1992 set, Amos plays with the added style and confidence of a musician riding critical acclaim. The remarkable concerts include her signature tracks "Silent All These Years" and "Crucify," as well as rarities such as a cover of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit."
