Defective Product; Terrible Service!
The remote for this TV is an essential part of its function but is chronically defective. One user at the Toshiba website claims that the remote stops functioning whenever the internet-streaming program is upgraded. My experience is it stops working every two months. First, Toshiba sent a replacement remote within a week or so; the second time the company promised replacement but has never sent it and disconnects me every time I try to reach Customer Service. Three weeks later, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
