Finally a product that gives the instruction on the TV. screen. Easy to follow and easy to use. We have had other products that we have needed help to set up but this one is super easy. Especially for the older generation like my husband and me. Trying to keep up with all the new products on the market is not easy. Thanks to Toshiba we are now able to watch Netflix and other movies. DRand.
Product was as described, very good condition and good price
The item was received as advertised and in very good operating condition. Thank you!
Inexpensive Blu-ray that does the job12/18/2012
This item is a very inexpensive way to get into Blu-ray movies. The item itslef is small, lightweight, and clearly not a high end product. The mechanism is noisy and reaction time is slow. The menus can be confusing, but the bottom line is it is a great deal and works fine. If you have a wired internet connection you can stream video from Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, etc. It will not, however, work as a wireless device without the purchase of an additional adaptor.
Where are the instructions?12/3/2012
The Toshiba BDX2250 Blu-ray Disc Player is a light weight, sleek device. I was surprised to see that not only did the device come with no manual, you would have to spend several hours on the internet just to find a manual for it. You wont find it on the manufacture website. I needed the manual for one issue: It would not connect to my wifi. For anyone else having the same problem, here is what I did to finally get it to connect. Restore Manufacture settings Connect LAN cable to device Connect WIFI It takes a little while to connect, but once it connects, you're good.
Only problem I had is the box was not wrapped, anyone could see what it was, still a great deal.
This player works as advertised. I would recommend it to anyone.
Inexpensive but low on features.6/18/2012

This unit works fine.........when it works. Half the time it powers on in stupid mode and leaves you staring at a blank screen futility pushing buttons on the remote. In order to get the unit working again you must get up and unplug it from the wall or power strip, wait a couple seconds and then plug it back in. If you're lucky, it'll power up correctly a few more times before you have to repeat the power cycling process again. The best advice is to avoid this stinker or if you get one make sure the unit is going to power up properly before you sit down.
good value took to long to connect to dns had to call customer service to get the codes took 20 min
We replaced a Sony DVD player with this Toshiba and it beats the other hands down. No need to buy an external wireless dongle, just plug it in and enter your wireless information and you are on line. Even with a slower connection, it downloads fast enough to keep from pausing.
