"Since it's premiere in 1984, The Toxic Avenger has become a world famous icon. Legions of fans around the world have followed the adventures of Tromaville's favorite hideously deformed hero of superhuman size and strength through four films, comic books, video games, action figures and even a children's cartoon series. Now, Troma has packaged Toxie's greatest films together into The Complete Toxic Avenger!

The Complete Toxic Avenger is the ultimate collection of The Toxic Avenger franchise! Follow Toxie's entire history in this amazing seven disc set, which includes the unrated Director's cut versions of the films - from his nuclear waste birth in The Toxic Avenger, through his journey to Japan in The Toxic Avenger Part II, through his fight with the Devil himself in The Toxic Avenger Part III, and into his latest adventure in Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger Part IV, as he faces off against his evil doppelganger the Noxious Offender! Follow Toxie even further with the never-before-released complete collection (13 episodes) of the Toxic Crusaders animated series and the special making-of documentary, Apocalypse Soon!"

Professional Reviews

DVD Maniacs 7 of 10
"[3] This time out, Toxie seems to have eliminated all crime from Tromaville and is starting to feel a little stale, so he sets out to pony up enough scratch to pay for the operation to restore his blind girlfriends eyesight. In order to make this happen, he takes a high paying job with Apocalypse Inc. and starts to turn into a yuppie!...While none of the Toxic Avenger films are going to win any Academy Awards, they've have their place in horror/schlock/exploitation history solidified by politically incorrect humor, buckets of gore, and gratuitous sex and violence." - Ian Jane

The Onion A.V. Club 8 of 10
"[1] Fifteen years or so later, it's possible to see it as a fairly important film, historically speaking: With the wane of drive-ins and the introduction of home-video and cable, The Toxic Avenger was one of the first titles to prove that a film could build an audience without much theatrical play. If it weren't for junior-high sleepovers and The USA Network, chances are good that you would never have heard of The Toxic Avenger...As for the movie itself, it's still a piece of trash, if a marginally entertaining one: It's too self-consciously parodic to be good kitsch, and too gross to be all that fun." - Keith Phipps

Washington Post 6 of 10
"[2] To be sure, there are a number of laughs, though perhaps too many depend on one's appreciation of genre films. Other Troma Inc., films, including the original ""Avenger"" and ""Class of Nuke 'Em High,"" worked partly because there was a silly, surreal energy coursing through them. This sequel seems less inspired than calculated. The filmmakers never decide whether to play for laughs or gross-outs, and just as you're giggling at some silliness, you'll cringe at some graphic excess. Well, as Charlie the Tuna might say after a dose of mercury, ""Whaddaya want, a film that tastes bad or a film with bad taste?""" - Richard Harrington

HorrorWatch 9 of 10
"[4] Troma has pulled no punches on this masterpiece. There are cameos left and right, from Lemmy and Ron Jeremy to Julie Strain, Corey Feldman, and even the late Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf. The violence and gore are top notch and over the top as usual. There are many great kills and great choreographed fight scenes. Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD runs over an elderly lady's head in a good scene. Toxie sharpens a villain's finger in a pencil sharpener than impales the guy's skull with the sharpened digit. He also double amputates the police chief and throws a little girl against a brick wall, literally like she were a rag doll. Lots of intestines, meat grinders, and amputations. This is good s***." - W.L. Paynecraft
