The unit has reached its end of life support ...

... that is what TRENDnet's technical support has to say about this product. Moreover, their technical support stated, "The TEW-MP1U does not support the windows 7 64 bit operating system. The print server will not work with your 64 bit computers. The unit has reached its end of life support and will not receive any further updates to make it compatible with any of the other operating systems." I would opt for another print server that may be compatible with 64 bit OS or is at least upgradable. Read More

This unit is junk. I am using Win XP Pro, with a Samsung Laser. I did not see where Trendnet stated that each PC must have their software installed before you can print. Buy.com receives their information from the manufacturer or supplier. I checked Trendnet's web site and must have missed this point, if it were there. Only one PC can use it at a time. You have to "Connect" to it, and "Disconnect" when done, so that another PC can print. The software started crashing on PC startup. I would print one job, and it would disconnect on its own. I would have to restart the printer. Now it disconnects before the print job. Overall, not even worth being a paper weight. Read More
