It works great for DirectTV On Demand and computer internet connections!
It just works10/30/2012
I'm very happy with this purchase. It arrived in less than a week and all I did was take out of the box, plug both units in, connect my Ethernet cables and it worked. Streaming Netflix videos with no issue to my TV. As painless as it gets.
Great for areas hard to reach by wifi6/11/2012
I have a desktop computer one story up and through several thick walls from my router. Wifi reception has always been spotty. Since this set uses the electricity in my house I was able to simply connect 1 to the router and nearby electricity and the 2nd one to the computer and nearby electricity. Immediate dramatic improvement.
Nice product, good idea but with limitations4/19/2012
The product works well when applied exactly as described in the manual. I purchased it hoping that I could plug it into a UPS instead of the direct outlet (the product page clearly stated that it should be plugged into a wall outlet) but it wouldn't work. I knew I was taking a chance. My advice . . . if you have enough wall outlet plug-ins . . . this product will work just fine.
