All-in-One Control Solution
The B021-02R-17 combines a full keyboard, numeric keypad, touchpad and 17-in. color LCD in a 1U rack drawer for compact storage and easy access. No server-resident software is required, so server performance and reliability are never compromised. Upgradable firmware fine-tunes compatibility with emerging standards.

Flexible Installation Options
The B021-02R-17 can be mounted in racks with depths ranging from 22 to 34 inches (rackmounting hardware included). Its dual-rail configuration enables the keyboard and LCD to be stowed in the rack independently. This gives IT personnel the option to monitor computer activity while keeping the keyboard stowed out of the way in the rack—ideal for applications where continuous system monitoring is necessary yet space is limited.

Supports Multiple Platforms
The B021-02R-17 supports both PS/2 and USB connections (console cable kit included). Because compatibility is based on common hardware standards rather than system software dependencies, almost any platform can be accommodated, including UNIX®, Linux, Windows®, Mac OS®, Solaris™ and more. The B021-02R-17 is also compatible with most KVMs that are equipped with PS/2 and USB console ports.

Accommodates External Consoles
For additional flexibility, the B021-02R-17 is provided with both USB and PS/2 keyboard/mouse connections and an HD15 VGA monitor connection on the back of the unit. This enables an external console to be connected if necessary. A USB port on the front of the unit enables an external mouse to be connected if desired.

High-Resolution LCD
The B021-02R-17's LCD screen supports video resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024 at 75Hz. DDC, DDC2 and DDC2B emulation allows the video settings of the connected computer to be automatically adjusted for optimal display on the console monitor.
