Featuring exclusive Isobar® surge suppression technology in 1U of rack space and an all-metal housing that's practically indestructible, the IBAR12-20ULTRA is the smart surge protection solution for a wide range of IT, industrial and commercial applications. It provides 3840 joules of surge protection for connected equipment—more joules mean more protection. The IBAR12-20ULTRA also features a 20A circuit breaker for overload protection as well as unique isolated filter banks that block disruptive EMI/RFI line noise interference and prevent mutual interference between connected components. The IBAR12-20ULTRA comes with a lifetime product warranty, RoHS-compliant design and $25,000 in Ultimate Lifetime Insurance for connected equipment.

Powerful Surge Protection and Performance Enhancement
More joules mean more protection! The IBAR12-20ULTRA's 3840-joule surge suppression rating and Isobar surge protection technology shield connected equipment from even the strongest surges. Robust surge suppression circuits with sine-wave tracking offer extreme levels of protection against the heaviest surge conditions exceeding IEEE 587 category A & B specifications and reducing 6000V test surges to harmless levels under 35 volts. The IBAR12-20ULTRA provides 12 outlets (2 front NEMA 5-15R and 10 rear NEMA 5-20R) in a rugged all-metal 1U housing. EMI/RFI line noise filtering helps components perform at their peak by eliminating performance problems that can be caused by radio transmissions, fluorescent lighting and appliances, while promoting longer component life spans.

Exclusive Isolated Filter Banks
Devices connected to the same surge protector can interfere with one another's performance. The Isobar is the only surge protector with internal barriers, called isolated filter banks, that prevent disruptive line noise from causing computer lock-ups, data errors and similar problems. Isolated filter banks ensure that peripheral devices and appliances don't degrade the performance of computers and sensitive A/V components.

Built-In Diagnostic LEDs
Three diagnostic LEDs (LINE OK, LINE FAULT and PROTECTION PRESENT) show power and protection status at a glance, enabling you to recognize power problems before they affect your valuable equipment. The green LINE OK verifies that the IBAR12-20ULTRA is connected to a properly grounded wall outlet, while the red LINE FAULT LED indicates a grounding problem. The green PROTECTION PRESENT LED indicates that surge protection is available. If this green LED ever goes out, simply return the IBAR12-20ULTRA to Tripp Lite for a free replacement. An illuminated master switch provides one-touch power control over all components and a 20-amp circuit breaker provides overload protection. The switch is protected by a locking, transparent plastic cover to prevent accidental shut-off of power to connected equipment.

Versatile Installation Options
The IBAR12-20ULTRA is optimized for 1U rackmount installation with included mounting hardware. It is also suitable for 0U vertical installation in compatible rack enclosures, as well as wall-mount, workbench and under-counter mounting. A long 15-ft. cord with space-saving right-angle plug enables the IBAR12-20ULTRA to be connected to a distant wall outlet. Its rugged all-metal case is built to stand up to harsh environments such as warehouses, garages and factory floors.
