Tripp Lite's PDUMV30NET Switched, Metered PDU is the ideal choice for distributing and managing power in high-density IT environments. Featuring a built-in SNMPWEBCARD, the PDUMV30NET provides full remote power monitoring and control via a secure network or web browser interface. The PDUMV30NET can monitor and report input power status, output power, PDU load conditions and more. Used with an optional environmental sensor module (Tripp Lite model ENVIROSENSE), it can also perform temperature/humidity and dry contact interface monitoring. The PDUMV30NET's 24 outlets are individually controllable to enable load shedding, load ramping and remote rebooting of locked-up servers and other network devices. To prevent inrush-related equipment interaction at startup, the outlets are programmed for sequential activation. A digital meter is also provided, enabling the PDU's load to be monitored on site. The PDUMV30NET is configurable with included hardware for 0U (vertical) installation in the cable management area of most rack enclosures, and also supports toolless button-mount vertical installation in compatible rack enclosures. An included mounting accessory enables the PDUMV30NET to be vertically button mounted with its outlets facing to the rear.
Tripp Lite's PDUMV30NET Switched Power Distribution Unit:
Ideal solution for powering, monitoring and controlling devices in high-density IT environments
Switched, metered 30-amp PDU with 24 outlets
Built-in SNMPWEBCARD for remote power monitoring and individual outlet control
Digital meter for on-site monitoring of total PDU load
Built-In Network Interface with Broad Compatibility The PDUMV30NET features a built-in SNMPWEBCARD that enables full remote power monitoring and control via a secure network or web browser interface The PDUMV30NET provides10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimal communication compatibility with a 10/100 Base-T network. Protocols supported include HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, Telnet, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration support provides the ability to have network settings automatically assigned to the card, or manually assigned via permanent IP addresses.
Advanced Network Monitoring Capabilities The PDUMV30NET gives IT personnel enhanced oversight of network power conditions. It remotely monitors site power conditions and PDU load levels, and provides immediate event notifications via email or SNMP traps. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered. Used with Tripp Lite's optional ENVIROSENSE sensor, the PDUMV30NET can also remotely monitor temperature/humidity conditions plus up to four dry contact interfaces for alarm, security and telecom devices. These capabilities simplify and streamline the task of network power management.
Remote Outlet Control The PDUMV30NET's 24 5-15/20R outlets are arranged in two separately breakered 12-outlet load banks. All outlets are individually controllable via network or web browser interface, providing a higher level of network power control. These controllable outlets enable power management tasks such as load shedding, load ramping and rebooting of locked-up network devices to be performed remotely. To prevent inrush-related equipment interaction at startup, the outlets are factory-programmed for sequential activation at 250-millisecond intervals when the PDUMV30NET is energized.
Digital Current Meter The PDUMV30NET is equipped with a digital LED meter that enables IT personnel to monitor the total load on the PDU in real time. This meter helps to assure that the PDU is used at maximum capacity with no danger of overload. A push-button toggle switch enables users to view power consumption for all three loading segments: Bank 1 (12 outlets), Bank 2 (12 outlets) or Banks 1 and 2 combined (24 outlets).
Dual Overload Protection The PDUMV30NET's two load banks are each provided with a 20A circuit breaker to protect the PDU and connected equipment from damage due to overloads and short circuits.
