Ideal for Protection of Network and Telecom Equipment
The SMART1500CRMXL features a 1500VA/1440W capacity and provides advanced automatic voltage regulation (AVR), reliable battery backup and comprehensive power management capability in 2U of rack space. Featuring eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, USB/DB9 ports and an SNMPWEBCARD slot, the SMART1500CRMXL offers a complete power protection solution for servers, storage devices and telecom equipment.

Advanced Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Advanced AVR protects connected equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems that can be caused by brownouts (low-voltage conditions) and overvoltages. The SMART1500CRMXL corrects brownouts as low as 83V and overvoltages as high as 145V to a nominal 120V.

Individually Controllable Outlets
The SMART1500CRMXL includes an integrated switched PDU with three outlets that are individually controllable via a software interface for remote reboot of locked-up equipment or load shedding.

Reliable, Expandable Battery Backup
The SMART1500CRMXL features a large internal battery that provides 14 minutes of battery support for a half load (720 watts) and 6 minutes for a full load (1440 watts). For mission-critical applications demanding continuous uptime, the fully scalable SMART1500CRMXL can provide expandable runtime with optional external battery packs (Tripp Lite Models BP48V24-2U and BP48V48RT4U), sold separately.

High Power Factor and Efficient Operation Reduce Energy Costs
The SMART1500CRMXL features a 0.96 output power factor and high-efficiency operation—up to 97%—that can significantly reduce a facility's energy costs by minimizing heat output, lowering cooling requirements and reducing the consumption of electricity.

AC Line Surge Suppression and EMI/RFI Line Noise Filtering
The SMART1500CRMXL features a 570-joule surge suppression rating to protect connected components and data from the harmful effects of power surges. Incorporated technology filters out disruptive line noise, a common cause of incremental hardware damage, data corruption and audio/video performance problems.
