The SMART2200RMXL2U features a 2200VA/1920W capacity (1600W with external batteries) and provides advanced automatic voltage regulation (AVR), reliable battery backup and comprehensive power management capability in just 2U of rack space. With eight outlets (four 5-15R and four 5-15/20R), USB/DB9 ports and an SNMPWEBCARD slot, the SMART2200RMXL2U offers a complete power protection solution for servers, storage devices and telecom equipment.

Advanced Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Advanced AVR protects connected equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems that can be caused by brownouts (low-voltage conditions) and overvoltages. The SMART2200RMXL2U corrects brownouts as low as 83V and overvoltages as high as 145V.

Controllable Load Banks
The SMART2200RMXL2U includes an integrated switched PDU with two single-outlet load banks that are individually controllable via a software interface for remote reboot of locked-up equipment or load shedding to maximize battery backup time for mission-critical equipment.

Reliable, Expandable Battery Backup
The SMART2200RMXL2U features a large internal battery that provides 12 minutes of battery support for a half load (960 watts) and 4.5 minutes for a full load (1920 watts). For mission-critical applications demanding continuous uptime, the fully scalable SMART2200RMXL2U can provide expandable runtime with optional external battery packs (Tripp Lite Models BP48V24-2U and BP48V60RT-3U), sold separately.

High Power Factor and Efficient Operation Reduce Energy Costs
The SMART2200RMXL2U features a 0.87 output power factor and high-efficiency operation—up to 96%—that can significantly reduce a facility's energy costs by minimizing heat output, lowering cooling requirements and reducing the consumption of electricity.

AC Line Surge Suppression and EMI/RFI Line Noise Filtering
The SMART2200RMXL2U features a 570-joule surge suppression rating to protect connected components and data from the harmful effects of power surges. Incorporated technology filters out disruptive line noise, a common cause of incremental hardware damage, data corruption and audio/video performance problems.

Communications Ports, SNMP Capability and Included PowerAlert Software
The SMART2200RMXL2U features an HID-compliant USB port and a DB9 port (cables included). When used with Tripp Lite's included PowerAlert software, these communication ports provide comprehensive network power monitoring and control. The SMART2200RMXL2U also accepts an optional SNMPWEBCARD accessory that enables the UPS to operate as a managed device on the network.
