Product Description

Tripp Lite's PDUMH30ATNET Single-Phase Switched/Metered Power Distribution Unit with Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS) is the perfect solution for efficient, cost-effective power distribution, monitoring and management in high-density IT or industrial environments. It provides 24 5-15/20R outlets, one L5-30R outlet, and a digital meter that displays continuous power consumption so IT personnel can monitor the PDU's load on-site. The optional integrated automatic transfer switching capability enables dual AC input redundancy for critical network hardware, hot-swappable UPS maintenance bypass or dual UPS protection. Featuring a built-in SNMPWEBCARD, the PDUMH30ATNET provides full remote power monitoring and control via a secure network or web browser interface. When used with an optional environmental sensor module (Tripp Lite model ENVIROSENSE), the PDUMH30ATNET can also report temperature/humidity conditions. The PDUMH30ATNET is built using an all-metal housing and switchless design to prevent accidental shutoff. It is suitable for 2U rackmount installation as well as wall-mount, workbench, under-counter and similar installations. For peace of mind, the PDUMH30ATNET comes backed by a 2-year warranty and is designed according to strict RoHS specifications.

IT Power Distribution Optimized for Demanding Applications
The PDUMH30ATNET is engineered for reliable AC power distribution to supported equipment in IT, industrial and other similar applications. An unfiltered electrical pass-through makes the PDUMH30ATNET ideal for distributing alternate waveform utility, UPS or generator power in rack enclosures, network closets, and more. Its rugged steel housing is designed to stand up to even the harshest worksite environments. 24 high-quality 5-15/20R outlets (12 front, 12, rear) and one L5-30R outlet ensure optimal connections to equipment. Additional features include a 30-amp circuit breaker and dual 10-ft. cords with locking L5-30P plugs. To help maintain power to mission-critical equipment, the PDUMH30ATNET switchless design prevents accidental shutoff and safeguards against downtime due to human error.

Integrated Auto-Transfer Switching & Hot-Swap Capability
The PDUMH30ATNET's optional integrated automatic transfer switching (ATS) capability functions as a redundant power option for networking and server applications with non-redundant internal power supplies. In ATS mode, the primary power cord delivers primary input power and the secondary power cord provides secondary input power. If primary power becomes unstable or fails, the PDU automatically switches to the secondary power source. Additionally, ATS enables fault-tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS system, and fully redundant UPS protection when each power cord is connected to a separate UPS system. Front-panel input LEDs indicate primary or secondary power availability.

Built-In Network Interface with Broad Compatibility
The PDUMH30ATNET built-in SNMPWEBCARD enables users full remote access for power monitoring, configuration and control via a secure network or web browser interface. The PDUMH30ATNET provides 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimal communication compatibility with a 10/100 Base-T network. Supported protocols include HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, Telnet, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP, and NTP. DHCP/Manual configuration support gives network settings the ability to be automatically assigned to the card, or manually assigned via permanent IP addresses.

Advanced Network Monitoring Capabilities
The PDUMH30ATNET gives IT personnel enhanced oversight of network power conditions. It remotely monitors site power conditions and PDU load levels, and supports notification and logging of all major power events and user-specified alarm thresholds via email or SNMP traps. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date, even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered. When used with Tripp Lite's optional ENVIROSENSE sensor (sold separately), the PDUMH30ATNET can also remotely monitor temperature/humidity conditions plus up to 4 dry contact interfaces for alarm, security, and telecom devices. These capabilities simplify and streamline the task of network power management.

Digital Current Meter
To ensure proper load balance, the PDUMH30ATNET's easy-to-read, 2-character digital LED meter displays the total connected equipment load in real-time to allow more equipment to be safely connected with no danger of overloading the PDU or power supply circuits. The PDUMH30ATNET's digital current meter also uses a segment selection button that reports output power consumption in amps for each of the four outlet banks (two banks of 12 x 5-15/20R outlets, one L5-30R outlet, and the total output of all outlets combined). Plus, the outlets are factory programmed for sequential activation when the PDU is first energized to prevent inrush-related equipment interaction on start-up and safeguard against costly overloads.

Versatile Installation
The PDUMH30ATNET is easy to integrate with a wide range of data center and network applications. It is suitable for 2U installation in standard 19-inch rack enclosures as well as wall-mount, workbench, under-counter and similar installations.

2-Year Product Warranty and Environmentally Responsible Design
The PDUMH30ATNET comes with a 2-year warranty. As part of Tripp Lite's commitment to environmental responsibility, it is manufactured in compliance with strict RoHS specifications.
