Customer Reviews of Tritton D300 Universal Laptop Xpress Dock Station and Dual Monitor Display
The major problem is that the display is very slow. It takes more than 3 mins to refresh window. I am using win 7 64-bit. I will throw it.

ok first tip set your display settings if your using win 7 to win 7 basic, u do that and you will not have a bit of trouble with this item, also upgrade the firmware with a download update from their website to make sure its up to date, after using this item since Sept.2011 everyday plugged into my HP G72 17in' i have had no issues at all i luv this thing, works great but i noticed the win 7 basic setting was the way to go if u use the aero forget it you will return this item,so try it n see...
Very mediocre performance... ok for the money10/21/2011
Ports limitation with no HDMI or DVI so you are stuck with a VGA and a low resolution. no on/off switch and must install software that came with it to get it to work. Getting all of these ports through one USB port on your computer creates a bottleneck where your VGA and all other USB and Ethernet inputs will fight for bandwith, leaving you with so so performance at best. I don't recommend it unless you are paying less then twenty bucks for it.
Not what I expected10/14/2011
This did technically work to extend the screen over 2 monitors. However, it did not allow each screen resolution to be different nor could I choose the primary screen. I could not move them logically, so the laptop was always the primary screen on the left and the monitor was on the right, which did not work for me. I suppose it is a good deal for the money if that setup works for you. Also, you have to run the power through the standard lap port, not through the dock. I will return this.
A lot more than you pay for9/29/2011
This device does a lot more than you would expect at this price point. I had tried to get my daugther's laptop to "dock up" with other devices but had nothing but problems. Bad resoution, etc. This device does it all. Once you install it (10 minutes) you have a sure fire "one plug" solution to doc your laptop. Worked so well I bought another one and did my other daughters laptop
Bought this one for my laptop, works pretty well and gives me a lot a of flexibility with peripherals
