Product Overview

Caught up in a whirlwind of drugs and violence in the underbelly of society, Ty Sabala had barely managed to escape with his own life. He returns home to find things not how he left them. As only a huge, heavily tattooed street-fighter can, Sabala starts to set things right and he gets involved in fighting and boxing and other assorted nastiness. Finally he realizes that the only way to save his soul is with a bare knuckle brawl that will free him forever...if it doesn't kill him first.

Editors Note
Note Ty Sabala wants to change his life. After living on the finges of society and scraping by in the underworld on the strength of his fists alone, he returns home to find that things there have changed as well. He undertakes a vigilante mission to set things right, but finds himself drawn into fighting and boxing in a lifestyle similar to that we he tried to leave behind. Finally, Sabala undertakes one final, bare-knuckle brawl that will free his soul if he can escape with his life.

Review As its title suggests, Two Fisted is a tough film. Pulling no punches, filmmaker Freeman has crafted a gritty film about a bare-knuckle boxing badass who returns home to settle old scores and atone for old sins. Two Fisted offers an unflinching and stylish look at the underbelly of society.

Review Showing a level of polish and craft rare in locally produced features, Todd Freeman's "Two Fisted" is a nail-tough thriller with a compelling lead character. A scruffy outsider, who returns home to Portland when he learns his incarcerated father is dying, gets involved in bare-knuckle boxing and other assorted nastiness. Robert Blanche and Sarah Rosenberg, familiar faces by now to regular attendees of Sabala's at Mt. Tabor, occupy secondary roles...It's worth catching now if you missed it the first time as an example of solid genre filmmaking on a shoestring.

Portland Mercury ...unquestionably, almost hallucinogenic colors...
Your Video Store Shelf ...a high-octane, gritty, 'break your nose with my fist' action movie.
