Author Bio
Nelson Demille
A native of Long Island, Nelson DeMille played football and ran track in high school. He attended Hofstra University for three years before joining the Army, serving in Vietnam as a Second Lieutenant and infantry platoon leader in the First Cavalry Division. After returning home from the war, he graduated from Hofstra, married, had two children, and after a divorce, married for a second time. DeMille is a member of the Authors Guild, the Mystery Writers of America, and American Mensa. While his first published novels were mysteries featuring the New York Police Department, DeMille garnered most of his fame and fortune writing political and international thrillers that demonstrated his flair for suspense, adventure, and romance.
