Works pretty good - AZ_AU5009/11/2009
This device plugs into a usb port and includes a short USB extender cable so that it doent block anything else on you computer. This also gets it out where your remote can see it better. It provides a great picture and seems to work like a pvr well to. The only thing that it had trouble with was when I hook it up and try to capture from a composite or S-Video source. (It came with cables to do this) The video capture was doubled on the screen and each half stretched. It doesnt do this when recording from the ATSC tuner. That works fine. It may be my computer, I dont know. I hook mine up to a rooftop antenna and it picks up all the channels good. It comes with its own antenna with a cord a few feet long and a suction cup. That would probably work in town better, I live out in the country and it could only get a few channels with that antenna. If you go to their web site (TWINHAN) you can get a driver that lets you use it with third party software, like Windows Media Center or Nero Liquid video. Its called a BDA driver. It is a bit slow to switch channels, has on screen EPG as well as a full EPG screen and a 12 channel preview at once screen (a bit slow to update) You can set a show to record by name in the EPG screen or hit record on the remote, keyboard controls or mouse. It pauses live TV and has an ALways on top button so you can shrink it into a smaller window while you work on something else IT comes with all the adapters you need for composite, ATSC/NTSC/CABLE, SVIDEO input. The remote has a power on button so you can activate and control the software from the couch. Includes a full screen button. If I can ever get the capture from Camera/VCR part to work it would be a 5.
