A film sculpted in the dark, gritty tradition of film noir, VENTARRON is a rarely seen Mexican film from 1948. Ventarron is an ex-con who tries to grasp control of the criminal underworld on his release from jail. But his plans to resume his status as a kingpin face some stiff opposition. To make things even more difficult for Ventarron, while chaos breaks out, he falls in love with Olga, and struggles to keeps his shady nocturnal lifestyle a secret from her.
