| In the wealthy, seaside community of Neptune, California, Hearst College stands as a beacon of higher education. But within this idyllic and sun-drenched campus, higher education is not always what it appears. Between the beer-soaked dorm parties and the all-night cram sessions, the members of the student body are facing a terrifying threat. Luckily for them, freshman and part-time private investigator Veronica Mars is used to taking on a few extracurricular activities. Hoping to leave the ghosts of Neptune High behind her, Veronica is now a freshman at Hearst College, along with her boyfriend, Logan Echolls, and best friends, Wallace Fennel and Cindy "Mac" Mackenzie. But despite the students' efforts to soak up the college experience in their own way, it quickly becomes obvious that some ghosts are here to stay. Even their high school graduation was marred when Veronica's unlikely ally, Eli "Weevil" Navarro, was arrested and dragged out of the ceremony in handcuffs. Add the increasingly dangerous private investigator business run by her father, Keith, to Veronica's spreading reputation around campus as a girl who can fix the unfixable, and it becomes clear that Hearst College has never encountered a student like Veronica Mars before. This six disc collection includes all 20 episodes from The Complete Third Season of Veronica Mars! |

Editor's Note
Set in Neptune, California, VERONICA MARS is a popular TV drama that follows the fortunes of a 17-year-old trainee private investigator. Neptune is full of powerfully rich residents, many of whom believe they are above the law. Fortunately Veronica, who was propelled into a life of crime-fighting after her best friend, Lilly, was murdered, is on hand to ensure that justice is served, much to the annoyance of the Neptunians who find themselves frequently foiled in their devious plans. Veronica's father is the former sheriff of Neptune, who found himself removed from office after alleging that Lilly's father was responsible for his daughter's death. Now, together with Veronica, he runs a local private investigation business, while also ensuring that his daughter doesn't neglect her high school duties. A long-standing subplot that runs through the show is Veronica's attempts to clear her father's name, which only leads to further evidence of enormous corruption and deceit in a neighborhood that seems littered with criminal activity. The entire third season of the show is collected here.
